The map shows the positions of all Wikipedia articles that have some
coordinates set with the help from Google Maps. The wikipedia data was provided by Stefan Kühn.
Not all articles are shown in all scales, otherwise the whole world
would show more than 40000 markers. So the length of the wikipedia
articles determines, from which scale they are shown.
